About the player page
If the background video should slow your computer down, you can disable it by unchecking the "video" checkbox.
In between the sounds, the player plays silences of varying lengths (sometimes for several minutes). Don't worry if "silence" is played many times in a row.
(For the sake of programming simplicity, the silences consist of zero to several silences of 10 seconds length plus a silence of zero to several seconds length.)
