Experimental guitarists Craig Green, Michael Frank, and Michael Peters met in 2008 on the 1st International Livelooping Festival in Cologne, Germany.

Since then they have presented several evenings (2009, 2010, 2012, 2014) of experimental guitar music at Cologne's LOFT, sharing their love for the outer fringes of guitar playing in the form of solos, duos, and trios

Michael Frank

user

Michael Frank lives in Cologne. While he is clearly rooted in the 1960s and 1970s, his ideas reach far beyond Jimi Hendrix. Besides many cooperations with jazz-, rock-, and avantgarde musicians, he realizes his musical visions mostly in "The Absurd", a large band whose legendary concerts consist of free improvisations, rock with odd time signatures and political lyrics, and complex jazz compositions
